WORKSHOPS
PRE-CONGRESS WORKSHOPS
DAY 0: MARCH 2, 2027, TUESDAY
Please note that the workshops are subject to change. Check back regularly as we finalize our expert-led courses and practical simulation sessions
BRONCHOSCOPY AND INTERVENTIONAL PULMONOLOGY TRACKS (Garden Wing)
These will feature four distinct training tracks combining lectures in the morning and simulator/animal-model practice in the afternoon
Track 1 (Linear EBUS)
Track 2 (Peripheral Bronchoscopy): Bronchial branch tracing, virtual navigation, radial EBUS, sampling tools (forceps, needle, cryoprobe)
Track 3 (Central Airway Obstruction): Rigid bronchoscopy, thermal modalities, and stent placement
Track 4 (Medical Thoracoscopy and Pleural Procedures): Pleural biopsy, indwelling pleural catheter insertion, and thoracoscopy models
IMMERSIVE HANDS-ON POCUS WORKSHOP FOR THE PULMONOLOGIST IN THE ICU (Tower Wing)
Track 5: An advanced postgraduate course focused on image acquisition, hemodynamic assessment, ultrasound-guided procedures, and multiorgan POCUS integration in critically ill patients.
To maximize hands-on learning, didactic lectures will be delivered through a prerecorded online series available one week before the workshop and for a limited period afterward. The onsite program will maximize time for supervised hands-on scanning, procedural skills, and simulation-based clinical application.
